My family were traveling from Phoenix to Las Vegas for my daughters birthday, on I40 the transmission on our Nissan completely let go. Luckily I called Kermit and he arranged for a tow and rental car so we could continue on with our vacation. I contacted the closest Nissan dealer in Lake Havasu, AZ. to order and purchase a rebuilt transmission and fluid, shipped to Kermit's for $3800.Now the really good part of the story once in Vegas, Debbie from Kermit's called to let me know that Nissan had doubled the warranty on my transmission, I had no knowledge of this, and I was covered. Kermit got my car towed to Lake Havasu Nissan because labor was only covered at a Nissan dealer.
