My family were traveling from Phoenix to Las Vegas for my daughters birthday, on I40 the transmission on our Nissan completely let go. Luckily I called Kermit and he arranged for a tow and rental car so we could continue on with our vacation. I contacted the closest Nissan dealer in Lake Havasu, AZ. to order and purchase a rebuilt transmission and fluid, shipped to Kermit's for $3800.Now the really good part of the story once in Vegas, Debbie from Kermit's called to let me know that Nissan had doubled the warranty on my transmission, I had no knowledge of this, and I was covered. Kermit got my car towed to Lake Havasu Nissan because labor was only covered at a Nissan dealer. The service at Kermit's was phenomenal. I'm no mechanic and my knowledge of working on cars is very basic. Kermit's took the time to have an in depth conversation about transmissions in Hondas and whether I needed work done or not. My quote for transmission fluid flush was $250 less than the Honda dealer. When I had the work completed the cost ended up dropping another $25 and they filled up the air in all my tires. Very nice, professional, and honest people that I dealt with at Kermit's. Just got off the phone with a guy that works here and I was inquiring about a brake flush. The dealership I bought my car at kept telling me I needed one so I was shopping around. The guy on the phone was 100% honest with me and told me that I was getting scammed, as I wasn't even halfway near the mileage that I needed to be for just an INSPECTION of the fluid.
